My List of Joy as Venus Transits Pisces
A number of days ago, Venus entered Pisces, which has been her sign of exaltation since western astrology began in Mesopotamia. That's thousands of years of practicing astrologers from all different time periods, cultures, and perspectives going, "Yep, the planet of beauty, art, relationships, and sex really does like this sign! Must be something dancing, musical, artistic, reproductive about it."
Saturn has been in Pisces since March 2023 so it's possibly been a period of slow change for in whatever area she sits. Saturn generally brings difficulty so Venus' presence in Pisces should bring some sweetness to that area.
Fortunately for us, Venus will be spending extra time in Pisces this year as her retrograde starting this March will send her back to the fish twins' 22nd degree. The retrograde itself will probably suck, as retrogrades oft do, but let's take what we can get. In acknowledgement of this, I have set some small, Venusian goals I have until late April to complete.
- Perfect my sourdough starter tending process and bake tasty sourdough loaves
Aleister (aka Alice) Doughly is finally getting into the spirit since Venus has ingressed.

2. Grow my calendula (aka marigold) into fully blooming and harvest petals to make yeast infection glycerides and skin repair solutions

3. Grow my insulin plant properly and get more leafy greens by eating her leaves

4. Sow some California poppy, milk thistle, and lemon balm seeds
5. Learn how to sing ONE song well in vocal lessons
6. Donate food to the hungry
7. Go to the beach, belly flop into the water, scream "VENUS!!!" and then promptly leave if it's too cold
8. omg I should probably bake Venus a small chocolate cake on a Friday sometime
It's been a rough one, folks. I hope you take some of this time to experience joy.
