Homemade Fire Cider and Infused Honey

My friend Chely posted this yesterday and, what do you know. I just discovered WordPress has this reblog feature! So I am going to join him in this endeavor in posting short thoughts of which I don't have much to say. They're shareable anyway.
On that note, the first fruits of my herbalism class labor have been made!

I made these two things as part of our Fall "traditions." I've been taking fire cider while sick for quite some time with great success and just learned about infused honey. So between these two things—and having a whole bag of marshmallow herb for making tisane, which opens the mucus membranes and therefore improves hydration—I hope to be prepared for winter illness.
Fire cider doesn't ever exactly taste great, but I hate jalapeño and already regret my life choices. But maybe I'll take the honey as a daily preventative thus reducing the need for the cider. Anyway! These babies will be ready in two weeks when their infusion period is over.
