Casting Astrological Charts for Non-Astro Purposes

A couple of weeks ago, I could not find my tape measure, which I wanted to use to measure my window in order to purchase curtains. So I decided to cast a horary chart, asking, "Where is my tape measure?" I only ever use horary astrology to try to find lost objects because, as anyone with ADHD will tell you, losing objects is one of the disorder's favorite things to do. However, in this case, I got quite a surprise.

Astrological chart casted with the question "Where is my tape measure?" Venus is on 4 degrees Scorpio, conjunct the Ascendant at 7 degrees Scorpio

The intention behind locating my tape measure was to perform an act of beautification. This is notable from an astrological and planetary standpoint because acts of beautification fall under Venus, who was on the Ascendant in Scorpio when I casted the horary chart. Normally, the next steps for most astrologers would then involve using the casted chart in order to identify where the object may be found.

Instead, incredibly, what happened is that I felt a tugging at the top of my head that pulled me out of where I casted the chart. I quickly realized there was an external spirit helping me search for the tape measure who soon brought me to the linen closet where I store much of my belongings in my apartment.

The spirit was clearly one of Venus (when I asked her name, she only responded "Veve") and I had the sense of her as something like an assistant in a dressing room. She had me neatly pick up my fallen bags, gently chiding me as she did and saying I needed a place to hang them, and put them away on their shelf. She then showed me that my tape measure was hidden under some items on the overflowing shelf below where I keep much of my house maintenance items.

I thanked her, her presence dissipated, and I eventually got my beautiful curtains from Saffron Marigold, which is a small family-owned business in my state that produces high quality home decor with traditionally handprinted patterns. I also got a good bag hanger, but I, uh, need help with hanging it so I may need to find out how to call Veve back.

Help, how do you find studs in the wall without a stud finder?

The story I just told is just one such example of using an astrological chart as not something to read. I have mentioned in the past of casting a chart to ask a question about Grace, which highlighted our psychic connection via activating my third eye energy center. Basically, an astrological chart is just a tool like any other except it is created with a certain intention behind it. The possibilities of how to use any tool are, in fact, numerous especially if you have a strong relationship with spirits who are involved in its crafting and implementation. In this case, if you have a strong relationship with the planetary spirits, they will find a way to help you whether you practice astrology traditionally or not.

Experiences like these show me that, although I wish I was an expert at traditional astrology, I don't need to be in order to get answers or fulfill a certain desire. Ultimately, what's most important to me is maintaining loving relationships with my deities, including Venus. Hail her and all of her gentleness, generosity, and beauty!
